Traveling to Europe has been a dream of mine ever since I could remember, and this summer, I had the opportunity to finally go. When traveling in Europe, I wanted to visit all of the many tourist attractions without looking like a tourist (or looking lost for that matter). Meaning, no athleisure and sportswear but chic (and most importantly, comfy) flats, a blazer that takes me from day to night and the perfect black mini to style.
Hidden in the middle of a corporate landscape lies this serene private museum namely the Noguchi Garden. Head here in the early evening to take advantage of the angles of the sunset falling on the sleek lines and corners of this picture perfect space.
Silver Lake is home to the once old Bates Motel turned white public art piece called “Projection,” by French artist Vincent Lamouroux; an absolute must-see while in the LA area.

Living on the East Coast brings traveling to many of the iconic states something of a breeze. Hop on a train and you’re at your travel destination within hours. DC was #1 on my list of East Coast destinations and I was in constant awe of the city’s deep history and amazed by its cleanliness. Above are scenes from my memorable visit.

Living in this general area my entire life, I always took LA for granted. It wasn’t until this year when I joined the Nasty Gal team and got to enjoy the parties and night life in downtown LA… Let’s just say, I’ve fallen in love with the city. Of course my dream would be to move to NY, but knowing how unrealistic it is with a student/intern bank account, (enough said) I’ve got to stay as close to home as possible. At least for now, as a newly 21 year old, I’ll enjoy the beauty of the city while I can and hope for bigger and better things to come!
